Raymond van Barneveld lost to Jelle Klaasen 10-6 in the quarter-finals. Van Barneveld announced his retirement from the sport after the match.

Dimitri Van den Bergh won the World Series of Darts Finals, beating Chris Dobey 11-10 in the final.
Van den Bergh averaged 106.63 and hit 10 180s in the match. Dobey averaged 99.46 and hit 9 180s.
Van den Bergh is the first Belgian player to win a major darts title.
