Eurovision Song Contest 2024

Malmö to Host 2024 Contest

Switzerland Wins with "The Code"

The Eurovision Song Contest 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden, after Ukraine decided not to host the event due to the ongoing war. The contest will take place at the Malmö Arena on May 18th, 2024.

A total of 37 countries will participate in the contest, including Australia, which has been competing since 2015. The participants will be divided into two semi-finals on May 14th and 16th, with the top 10 countries from each semi-final qualifying for the final.

Switzerland won the contest with the song "The Code" by Nemo, which received 591 points from the jury and televoting combined. This was Switzerland's first Eurovision win since 1988.

The Eurovision Song Contest is one of the most popular television events in the world, with millions of viewers tuning in to watch the competition. The contest has been held annually since 1956, and it has helped to launch the careers of some of the world's biggest music stars, including ABBA, Celine Dion, and Johnny Logan.
